What is High Blood Sugar Level?

The normal blood sugar level of a healthy person ranges from 4.0 to 5.4 mmol/l (72 to 99mg/dl) worth empty stomach and up to 7.8 mmol/l (140 mg/dl) 2 hours after a meal some time these sugar level exceeds the normal limit which is referred as high blood sugar or hyperglycemia.

Taking foods rich in carbohydrates is alarming for high blood sugar patients. Because the body converts carbohydrates into glucose that causes high sugar levels in the blood. To reduce sugar levels in the blood you must cut down the foods from the diet that are rich in carbohydrates.

Drink More Water

Drinking more water keeps the body hydrated and the hydrated body keeps the sugar level in the limit. The body gets rid of the extra sugar in the form of frequent urination. So, when the body had enough water, it is easy to get rid of high blood sugar.

Reduce Stress

To keep the blood sugar level in the limit, the patient should reduce his stress. Because high blood sugar level is directly linked to high stress.
